It set the course and laid the foundation for our continued success. Above all, it recognised those who are vital to that success: the people at Bechtle. It gave them a stage on which to shine, to exchange ideas and to celebrate everything they have achieved together. Now that the dust has settled and the insights have been absorbed, we take one final look back — before turning our full attention to what lies ahead. A day full of future: #STRAT26 is in the books. 💚 Our biggest event to date brought together 1,400 colleagues on site in Stuttgart and thousands more across Europe via livestream. Connected. Strong. International. And fully focused on what’s next. At the heart of STRAT26: our new vision, missions and strategic priorities in a world characterized by accelerated change. Dr Thomas Olemotz, Konstantin Ebert, Michael Guschlbauer and Christian Jehle outlined the role we will play in this evolving landscape – and how we will stay at the top of our game. But STRAT was more than that. Svea Eckert and AI expert Tina Kluewer highlighted why digital innovation is essential to securing Europe’s future prosperity during our first-ever live podcast. Danielle H., Tejinder A., Philipp Dumhard and Paul Zeinhofer inspired us with powerful pitches on AI, digital sovereignty, future-proof IT architectures and sales in the digital age. It was Christian Jehle’s first and Thomas Olemotz’s last STRAT—a fact that was highlighted with a unique Q&A with our CEO. It was blink, and you'll miss it from start to finish. We celebrated outstanding achievements during the Best of Bechtle ceremony, honored our CISO Marco Zugelder with the Brand Ambassador Award, and introduced our AI voice “Macy” to the audience. STRAT26 was more than an event. It was a statement. We are ready. More prepared than ever to shape the future with IT. Driven by what seperates us—the people at Bechtle and our willingness to go the etxra mile. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this day such an outstanding experience—especially Sabine Brand for hosting once again, Katharina Liebe and Stefan Maurer for entertaining the online audience during real life breaks, Julia Schneider and Viktoria Stadelmaier for the exceptional event management and last but not least Alexander Tibelius for the extraordinary visual experience. 🌱 Transparent calculation of carbon emissions: With Bechtle CO₂-Conscious IT, we enable customers to offset carbon emissions generated during the production and delivery of IT hardware. In collaboration with Berlin-based goodcarbon, customers can offset unavoidable emissions through carefully selected climate projects. goodcarbon applies a rigorous Nature Analytics Framework to develop, assess and monitor nature-based solutions. The framework ensures consistently high standards in terms of quality, transparency and measurable impact. As part of our Climate Strategy 2030/2050 and Science Based Targets initiative-aligned reduction targets, we also work with goodcarbon to offset our own unavoidable emissions. Quo vadis B2B-Handel?  Mark F. Siller, AI-Koordinator bei Bechtle, beschäftigt sich mit der Evolution digitaler Plattformen.  Seine Vision: Mit KI entwickeln sich Webseiten wie bechtle.com zu daten- und servicezentrierten Ökosystemen. Digitale Agenten übernehmen wiederkehrende Aufgaben und schaffen Freiräume für kreativen Austausch zwischen Menschen. Der Fokus verschiebt sich von operativer Abwicklung hin zu strategischem Dialog und kreativen Lösungsansätzen. Mit Stefan Maurer, Stellv. Leitung Corporate Communications & Brand Management bei Bechtle, sprach er über seine Rolle, offene Standards und wichtige Leitplanken zum Datenschutz. Nach dem Hype ist vor dem produktiven Einsatz: Das gilt auch für virtuelle Welten. Dank verbesserter Hard- und Software hat sich Extended Reality (XR) zu einer Technologie entwickelt, die auch dem öffentlichen Sektor echten Mehrwert bietet.
