🚀 We just open-sourced the Axigen CLI Skill for Claude Code — a plugin that brings AI-assisted administration to Axigen mail servers. The Axigen CLI has 126 contexts and 2,900+ commands. The skill gives Claude Code complete knowledge of the command reference, navigation model, and operational patterns, enabling two workflows: → Advisory mode for developers and integrators — describe what you need, get the exact CLI command sequence with context navigation and commit patterns. No server connection required. → Execution mode for system administrators — ask Claude to perform tasks on your live server through natural language, with real-time feedback. This node supports plain telnet and SSL / TLS connections. Open source under MIT: https://lnkd.in/dc5Dd4d8 Full guide: https://lnkd.in/d8dcVxAb #Axigen #ClaudeCode #AI #OpenSource

I’m honored to have taken part in the Digital Innovation Summit Bucharest - DISB - a three‑day gathering that brings together leading voices in cybersecurity, blockchain, digital innovation, and virtual learning. The event unites representatives from government, regulatory bodies, academia, and international organisations. A special thank you to Mr. Marius Vranceanu for the kind and welcoming invitation & a big shout‑out to Mr. Victor Vevera and the entire The National Institute for Research & Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest team, for hosting us in the stunning Romanian Palace of Parliament. All their effort highlighted the critical role of institutional cooperation and international dialogue as we accelerate digital transformation, and confront ever‑growing security challenges while shaping public policy for rapid technological change. We are proud to announce a strategic partnership between NourGlobal and Axigen Messaging. This collaboration brings a sovereign, white-label, scalable mail platform to Telcos and government digital infrastructure across the MENA region: * It enables Telcos and ISPs to own email as a core service, not resell someone else’s cloud * It empowers govs to meet sovereignty and compliance requirements by safeguarding critical communication data. Built by Axigen and delivered by NourGlobal, the platform supports in-country deployment, full data control, and long term technological independence. As we embark on this journey together, we invite you to engage with us through upcoming Sales & Technical Bootcamps, C-Level networking events, and joint initiatives designed to strengthen a regional ecosystem around sovereign communications. #Axigen #NourGlobal #StrategicPartnership #SecureEmail #DigitalSovereignty #OnPremise #DataResidency #GovernmentIT #CriticalInfrastructure #MENA

Why I spent part of my day today configuring temperature parameters instead of reviewing sales reports Everyone’s talking about “AI transformation.” Let me tell you what that actually looks like at Axigen Messaging: a company without a dedicated AI budget, without an AI department, and without certainty that any of this will pay off. Today I configured: • A Python script for OpenWebUI that searches our internal Confluence documentation • A Google Programmable Search Engine prioritizing our own content • A local knowledge collection with our articles as PDFs • System prompts, temperature, top_k, top_p parameters CEO work? Apparently yes. At least in a company our size. This might not work for you. I’ve been hands-on with technology for 25 years. I can debug configurations and understand why a RAG pipeline returns garbage when chunking is wrong. Most executives can’t. And shouldn’t have to. I’m not prescribing a model. I’m describing my reality. The experimentation problem You cannot evaluate AI for your business without using it daily. Not demos. Not vendor presentations. Daily use. My experimentation started with Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, used constantly, for real work: code shipped to prod, reports sent to customers, posts on LinkedIn, n8n flows. This isn’t curiosity. It’s calibration. You need to understand what “good” looks like before you can build it internally. Every use case is a different pipeline • Private codebase development? Self-hosted models, nothing leaves the building. • Sales support RAG? Different retrieval, different chunking. • Support team acceleration? Yet another configuration. You can hire consultants. But without internal understanding, you can’t evaluate what they deliver. Entry-level infrastructure, serious experimentation We’re running OpenWebUI connected to a 128GB NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip. Entry-level, but models large enough for relevant results, without recurring costs that make experimentation feel reckless. Combined with Claude Code for development work. Not compromise, pragmatism. The uncomfortable truth Someone at the decision table needs to know why temperature at 0.3 vs 0.7 matters. Why retrieval matters more than model size for some use cases. Why “just use GPT” isn’t a strategy. I don’t know if our approach will deliver ROI. I know it’s the only approach we can afford: financially and intellectually. (Please don’t comment “CEO-AI” expecting me to DM you a secret framework. I don’t have one. I’m figuring this out like everyone else. But yes, I’d love a comment, a reaction or even a share 😇) #AI #Leadership #Experimentation

I have been in the email industry for a little less than two decades. At Axigen Messaging, we just launched AxiMilterLLM, our AI-powered layer for detecting phishing and business email compromise. So when I read about deepfake attacks hitting 62% of organizations, I do not see a new problem. I see a familiar pattern. Email went through this. In the early days, anyone could send anything to anyone. No verification. No accountability. Spam exploded. Phishing followed. The industry responded with layers: SPF, DKIM, DMARC. Each RFC added a piece of the puzzle. Not a silver bullet, but incremental progress. Detection improved. Senders became accountable. Bad actors got listed on blocklists and lost their reach. It took years. It took cooperation between competitors. It took user education. Almost every corporate employee has sat through phishing training by now. That cultural shift matters as much as the technical controls. Deepfakes are following a similar curve. Right now we are in the early chaos phase. Detection is inconsistent. Accountability is unclear. The attacks are evolving faster than the defenses. I am not saying the exact same tactics apply. Video is not email. Social platforms are not mail servers. But some principles transfer. Penalize the infrastructure that amplifies harmful content at scale, just like we penalize IPs that send spam. Build verification into the system, not as an afterthought. Educate people before you regulate the space. The email industry learned that you cannot solve abuse with one law or one tool. You solve it with layers, norms, and continuous adaptation. Deepfakes will require the same approach. This is why I pay attention and would like to contribute somehow to this space. Not because it is trendy. Because I have seen this movie before.

Still relevant today. And probably will still be relevant tomorrow too.
About 5 days ago, AWS had an outage that highlights the importance of decentralised communications, and digital sovereignty. Governments and enterprises alike simply cannot rely on systems with a single point of failure. I wrote this piece 3 years ago and I want to reshare it again.

This fall brought two events that reminded us why we do what we do — and why people matter just as much as technology. At BCC 2025 in Bucharest and GITEX Global in Dubai, our team met with partners, institutions, and new faces from across the world — all sharing the same drive to build lasting connections.
