Following a news story in the Swedish Media, Avinode wishes to make clear its commitment to sanctions compliance. We reject the suggestion that circumventing sanctions has ever been our policy or practice. Where our processes identify entities linked to sanctioned individuals or organisations, we remove them. That work is ongoing. Following the start of the war in Ukraine, we acted immediately, terminating the membership of every operator and broker based in Russia and Belarus. If a customer has sought to bypass our strict Know-Your-Customer process we welcome any information that can help us investigate and remove the company from the platform. We take these matters very seriously and are approaching them with a clear focus on facts, compliance, and transparency. Further detail is set out in our company statement, and we encourage any customer or partner with questions or concerns to reach out to us directly: * * * We take the allegations that have emerged very seriously and have responded to SVT’s questions. Facts are important. Avinode offers a platform for air charter operators and brokers to connect. The responsibility for the collection and verification of passenger information, including screening passengers against applicable sanctions lists, lies with the aircraft operator and the relevant national authorities responsible for each flight. As for our responsibility, it is Avinode’s clear policy not to encourage or facilitate the circumvention of sanctions laws. Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Avinode terminated memberships for all customers based in Russia and Belarus. Where our processes identify entities linked to sanctioned individuals or organisations, we remove them. That work is ongoing. Avinode maintains a formal Know-Your-Customer process, which was strengthened in 2022, and has since been further enhanced in relation to sanctions and export control compliance. The Know-Your-Customer process is overseen by a dedicated compliance team and includes daily screening of customers against applicable sanctions lists. We also perform a thorough screening of prospective customers as a condition of joining and remaining on the Avinode platform. We note that SVT's reporting references Your Charter. Your Charter is not and has not been a customer of Avinode since April 2022, when its membership was terminated as part of the actions taken following the invasion of Ukraine. We remain committed to ensuring that our platform operates in compliance with applicable laws, including sanctions and export control laws. * * *

New speaker alert 🚨 Her years in horse racing have built some serious competitive drive. Jacquie Dalton brought it all into business aviation. Now Founder, Owner, and President of SPARROW Executive Jets, Jacquie joins the Node Talks panel “Brokers and operators: what’s really in the way?” With more than a decade across air charter, sales, and executive leadership, she runs a world-leading charter brokerage and knows exactly what keeps charter moving: "It takes at least 15 people to make a single flight fly. No one company can do it alone.
