  • December was an incredibly busy end to what was, at times, a demanding year. Apprilis has certainly been on a journey - one shaped by learning, growth, and continuous evolution. As a business, we’re always taking stock - refining how we work, strengthening partnerships, and making sure we remain relevant and aligned with where our clients, our people, and the wider digital landscape are heading. Lately, there have been small signs of spring appearing, snowdrops pushing through and the first daffodils beginning to show. It feels like a fitting reminder that progress is often quiet, steady, and already underway before it’s fully visible. January has begun with the same momentum and focus that closed out December, with plenty happening behind the scenes. As we look to 2026 and beyond, we’re confident about the direction we’re heading in and excited about what’s to come. Our aim remains simple: to deliver meaningful, people-centered digital transformation and to stay relevant by listening, learning, and evolving, just as we expect the technology we work with to do.   • Nine months later… our bees have delivered. 🍯🐝 Yesterday we received our very first batch of Apprilis honey - 90 jars of pure, golden, wildflower honey straight from our hives in the Cotswolds. What started as a sustainability initiative has become something truly special. Our partnership with Martin at Knight's Beekeeping has helped us support biodiversity and pollination in a hands-on way and seeing the results bottled feels like a milestone worth celebrating. As a certified B Corp and carbon-neutral business, we believe in taking care of the planet in small, meaningful ways. That’s why our honey is harvested responsibly, only removed after our bees have ample stores left to feast on through the seasons.   • Apprilis has been taking stock recently - reflecting, refining, and pivoting where it matters most. We’ve celebrated some great successes - new partnerships, strong collaborations, and contract wins we’re really proud of. We’ve also had a few near misses, as every growing business does. Through it all, we’ve strengthened our relationships and positioned ourselves exactly where we want to be: trusted, collaborative, and purpose-driven. But there’s one thing we’ve kept circling back to… our social media. Do we post about brand awareness? Sales? B2B or B2C? What's it all about? Rather than posting for the sake of it, our “social media lead” made the brave decision to pause. Not because we didn’t care, but because we wanted to be intentional. Do people really want to know it’s “Pot Noodle Day”? Or would they rather hear something meaningful, useful - maybe even fun - about what we do and why we do it? So, we’ve taken a step back, reflected, and created a plan. One that brings consistency, balance, and authenticity. Our goal is simple: to keep the Apprilis brand present in your mind, with content that feels genuine, relevant, and hopefully, a little refreshing.
