Canada’s Spring Economic Statement reinforces the importance of investing in apprenticeship pathways. We see every day that there’s no shortage of people who want to work in the skilled trades, but getting from that initial interest to a registered apprenticeship, and through to completion, isn’t always straightforward. Closing that gap means helping people understand where the opportunities are, how to access them, and how to succeed once they’re there. We’re encouraged by these investments and what they could mean for employers and apprentices across the country.
