Over the past nine years, with the support of the California Energy Commission, SCEIN has created a proven pathway for supporting more than 80 clean energy companies across Imperial, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego counties to help bring their clean technologies to market in support of California’s energy goals. Wonderful Wednesday! Last night, the end of Q1 2026 the OCP Data Center Facilities Power Distribution working group published version 1.0 of the white paper! https://lnkd.in/edffu-pQ Also embedded in the paper is also the link to the codes and standards summary list for data centers version 1.0. Both Paolo Catapane and I, are very grateful for the full industry effort to bring about this foundational paper that represents the collect effort of over 190 companies through the CurrentOS and ODCA partnership as well as the named contributors in the paper. For context, OCP had to recode the website because we had so many contributors on this paper 🙂 The shift to Direct Current enables future data center clusters to be designed and built, to further enhance the human experience, helping families connect better and create better quality of life for people. Now that this is on path to green for the industry, I might be able to go back to designing, building and operating AI clusters again - what I love to do 🙂 Please come to the OCP EMEA summit to hear more in person as we will have a Keynote and 2 Deep Dives on the paper as well as a breakout session.
