🫀 AMS World Tour 2026 erstmals in Österreich! Letzte Woche machte die AMS World Tour 2026 Station in der Klinik Floridsdorf und brachte erstmals das internationale Format nach Österreich. Unter der fachlichen Leitung von Prim. Prof. Dr. Martin Grabenwöger, gemeinsam mit Bernhard Priv. Doz. DDr. Winkler, und OA Gabriel Weiss, trainierten sechs Assistenzärzt:innen an realitätsnahen Trainingsstationen die Durchführung einer End-to-Side-Anastomose. Der zweitägige Workshop kombinierte intensives Hands-on-Training mit einem spannenden Abschluss-Contest, bei dem Präzision, Nahttechnik, Dichtheit und Zeit bewertet wurden. Besonders stolz sind wir darauf, dass Österreich mit sechs Teilnehmer:innen der bislang teilnehmerstärkste Workshop der internationalen AMS World Tour war. Das durchwegs positive Feedback von Teilnehmer:innen und Faculty unterstreicht den hohen Stellenwert praxisnaher chirurgischer Ausbildung und den Mehrwert innovativer Trainingskonzepte. 🏆 Herzlichen Glückwunsch an Emely Manville von der Klinik Floridsdorf, die sich in einem äußerst knappen Wettbewerb durchsetzen konnte und Österreich beim internationalen Finale der EACTS Annual Meeting 2026 in Barcelona vertreten wird. [#ReconstructionMammaire 🎗️] Une nouvelle avancée dans le parcours de reconstruction mammaire à l’IPC ! 🔎 Qu’est-ce que la technique du lambeau libre DIEP ? L’Institut Paoli-Calmettes propose désormais la technique du lambeau libre DIEP, une reconstruction mammaire autologue réalisée par microchirurgie. Cette technique permet de reconstruire le sein à partir des propres tissus de la patiente, prélevés au niveau de l’abdomen, sans prothèse mammaire et en préservant les muscles abdominaux. 👩⚕️ À qui peut-elle être proposée ? Elle peut être proposée à certaines patientes après une mastectomie, ou dans le cadre d’une reconstruction immédiate lorsque l’indication le permet. 🤝 Comment la décision est-elle prise ? Chaque situation est étudiée en réunion de concertation pluridisciplinaire, afin de proposer une prise en charge adaptée au profil, au parcours et aux souhaits de la patiente. ✨ Pourquoi cette nouvelle étape est-elle importante ? Avec le développement du DIEP, l’IPC poursuit son engagement pour une chirurgie oncologique de recours, intégrant pleinement la qualité de vie après traitement. 💬 « La reconstruction par lambeau libre abdominal permet une reconstruction naturelle, souple et surtout pérenne dans le temps. Ce qui en fait un avantage majeur par rapport à la reconstruction prothétique », ajoute le Dr Arthur Bertrand, chirurgien spécialisé en sénologie à l’IPC.
