At the Milken Institute Global Conference in Los Angeles this week, Lucy Heintz, Head of Energy Infrastructure at Actis, will join a senior panel to explore how AI is reshaping the infrastructure investment opportunity. As AI drives unprecedented demand for power, data centers and grid capacity, the session will explore how institutional capital is being deployed across generation, transmission, storage and digital infrastructure - and how investors are pricing reliability, duration and regulatory risk in an increasingly constrained system. We think few are better placed to tackle this subject than Lucy. With deep experience building energy platforms across growth markets, she will bring Actis’ perspective on delivering scalable, resilient and cost-competitive power solutions to support the next phase of digital and economic growth. The session takes place on Wednesday, 6 May, 8:30–9:30am PT. If you're attending Milken, we'd welcome the chance to connect. #MilkenConference #EnergyInfrastructure #SustainableInfrastructure

At CNBC Converge in Singapore, Rahul Agrawal, Managing Director and Head of Southeast Asia Energy at Actis, joined a panel exploring how economies are navigating the next phase of the energy build-out. The discussion focused on renewables and highlighted three core themes: accelerating deployment momentum, energy security remaining paramount, and the execution of projects being critical to success. Rahul used Actis' investment in MTerra Solar in the Philippines as a case study of how large-scale, renewables projects can be key to delivering secure, affordable and essential, low-carbon power to the markets that need it most. Watch below for more. #SustainableInfrastructure #InfrastructureInvesting #EnergyInfrastructure --- The statements contained herein regarding MTerra Solar or the market are as of April 2026.

Strengthening business continuity and readiness across the Actis portfolio. Last month, Actis delivered the latest in its ongoing series of best-practice teach-ins for portfolio companies, this time focused on a refresh session about business continuity and crisis management. The session brought together 80+ attendees, with three expert speakers who each serve as Crisis Lead for their own organisations to provide real life guidance. Knowledge sharing forms a key part of asset management at Actis, with regular teach-ins supplementing the annual portfolio offsite, which we believe provides an invaluable coming together of minds. Building resilient businesses is central to how we seek to protect and enhance value across our portfolio. We think robust crisis preparedness is a core part of that - reducing operational risk, safeguarding people and assets, and helping to ensure our investee companies can withstand and recover from disruption. #Sustainability #Infrastructure #SustainableInvesting

Shami Nissan, Head of Sustainability at Actis, will be speaking at the Bundesverband Alternative Investments e.V. Investor Conference 2026 tomorrow at 13:15 CEST. In her session, Shami will explore how incorporating sustainability considerations into infrastructure investing can help drive real financial value, using real-world examples from across Actis' portfolio as case studies. Sustainability is key to how we seek to mitigate risk, create value and support the long-term resilience of our assets, and experience shows us that investing in this way can provide access to lower cost capital, help to manage risk and enhance value at exit. If you're attending the conference, we'd encourage you to join the session for a practical look at how sustainability and strong financial performance can go hand-in-hand in infrastructure. #Sustainability #Infrastructure #SustainableInvesting

We believe the energy crisis reshaping global markets is also accelerating the case for renewable energy infrastructure - and Actis' investment in MTerra Solar in the Philippines is a case in point. The Wall Street Journal recently spoke to Rahul Agrawal and featured Actis portfolio company MTerra Solar in a piece highlighting how the current energy price shock is making the financial case for renewables-plus-battery storage, in our view, more compelling than ever. At the request of the Filipino government, MTerra Solar - one of the world's largest integrated renewables and battery storage projects today - accelerated its energisation to bring 250MW of solar capacity online, with 450MWh provided to the grid at night. This exemplifies one of the key benefits of renewable power - it is a domestic power source that is not dependent on fuel imports and can therefore act as a resilient source of energy security during times of volatility. As Rahul stated: "This is not theory. This is actually happening on the ground now." Navigating the new risk map: climate, energy and geopolitics Last week at the Insurance in a Changing World conference in London, Barry Lynch, Head of Operations, Energy Infrastructure at Actis, shared insights on how investors and insurers can respond to a rapidly evolving risk landscape shaped by the intersection of climate, energy and geopolitics. With the energy transition increasingly inexorably tied to energy security and shifting global dynamics, Barry identified three main takeaways: • Resilience must be engineered early – integrating climate modelling and risk analysis at the due diligence stage is critical to maintaining insurability and protecting long-term asset value • Operational excellence is a core risk mitigant – high-quality asset management and rapid response capabilities can materially reduce downtime, losses and recovery timelines • Insurers need to shift from risk avoidance to resilience partnership – collaborating with infrastructure investors to support adaptation and long-term performance will be key to closing protection gaps The session reinforced that resilience, operational expertise and data-driven decision-making are critical to navigating this new environment and to deploying capital effectively in support of a more secure and sustainable energy system. #Infrastructure #InfrastructureInvesting #SustainableInfrastructure #ICW26

In New Private Markets, Michael Bowen analysed the growing interest in growth markets by institutional investors - with Actis' Nicolas Escallon and James Magor contributing their insights to the piece. Nicolás reinforced the structural case: growth markets require roughly two-thirds of global infrastructure build-out yet attract less than a third of allocated capital. As he puts it, these markets are often underserved, undersupplied and under-allocated - and it is precisely this situation that can create exciting infrastructure opportunities for investors like Actis. James noted that the opportunity in growth markets means investors can aim to combine compelling returns with meaningful impact, which is key given how “even impact-seeking LPs want strong, risk-adjusted returns.” Access the article below. #InfrastructureInvesting #SustainableInfrastructure #Infrastructure

The Global South: bridging the perception gap in infrastructure investing Neda Vakilian, Head of Actis' Capital Solutions Group, spoke to Infrastructure Investor for its Mid-Market Report piece focused on growth markets, highlighting a critical dynamic shaping capital allocation today: the gap between perception and reality in growth markets. Neda notes how this profound mismatch itself creates an investment opportunity. From an Actis perspective, the key is not to rely on favourable conditions, but to generate returns through disciplined structuring and execution. Neda explains: “We never ‘hope’ for returns at Actis [in the Global South] – we engineer them. We make projects viable by prioritising contracted revenue, for example long-term power purchase agreements with creditworthy off takers to create predictable cashflows.” #SustainableInfrastructure #InfrastructureInvesting #GrowthMarkets
