  • We’re shocked and saddened to hear the news of the passing of Denise Turner, a valued Board Member of ABC UK, who died on 7th November. Denise was a respected and much-admired figure in media research, known for her intellect, integrity and passion for advancing understanding across our industry. Throughout her distinguished career, she shaped the way media is measured and valued, contributing enormously to the credibility and progress of our sector. Denise’s clarity of thought and collaborative approach left a lasting impression on all who worked with her. Simon Redlich, CEO, says: “Denise was an exceptional professional and a deeply respected voice in media research. Her insight, wisdom and humour enriched every organisation she worked with. I’m profoundly saddened by her passing and all of us at ABC extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and colleagues.”

  • What a day! Our 2025 Company Away Day was packed with insight, inspiration, and a healthy dose of future-focused thinking. A huge thank you to our guest speakers for sharing their expertise: 🌟 Emma Holden ((PAMCo) Publishers Audience Measurement Company) reminded us that trusted, high-quality measurement remains an industry benchmark, as PAMCo continues to evolve its cross-platform methodology to reflect today’s changing media habits. 💡 James Chandler (IAB UK) took us on a fast-forward to 2030 - exploring how AI, creativity and collaboration will reshape digital advertising, and why raising standards and trust across the industry matters more than ever. 🚀 Alex North & Martin Lawson (ISBA Origin - The UK Cross Media Measurement Programme) showcased how cross-media measurement is becoming reality, with independent audits at the heart of Origin’s processes, giving advertisers a single, deduplicated view across platforms. 🩺 And a special mention to the Community First Responders (from the East of England Ambulance Service Charity), who gave us hands-on First Aid training.
