Kearney, 7Learnings co-founder Felix Hoffman was in charge of Zalando’s global pricing algorithm. There, he gained first-hand expertise in the power of machine learning technology for pricing. With this experience as its foundation, the 7Learnings team has developed a next-generation pricing software built on the most advanced machine learning technology.   • ✍🏼 Our CEO & Co-Founder Felix Hoffmann recently contributed to Bitkom’s AI Trends in E-Commerce report. While LLMs are powerful when it comes to content and interaction, they don’t address one of the core challenges in e-commerce — making better, faster, and scalable business decisions. What is actually emerging is a different layer of AI adoption. Retailers are moving away from manual processes and rule-based systems towards solutions that combine prediction and optimisation, enabling millions of decisions across pricing, marketing, and inventory to be made in a structured, data-driven way.     Last Friday, we celebrated an important milestone — 7 years of 7Learnings 🎉 Seven years of growth, experimentation, tough decisions, and big wins. From a team of 4 to 60, from 0 to 50 customers, and three financing rounds along the way — it’s been an incredible journey since 2019. And now, with our expansion to the U.S., it truly feels like we’re just getting started again 🇺🇸 We kicked things off with welcome drinks and live piano music — atmospheric, warm, and very “us.” Then came one of the most powerful moments of the evening: Felix Hoffmann’s speech. He shared how it all started — how the idea was born at Zalando and later turned into 7Learnings, built together with Eiko van Hettinga and Martin Nowak from the ground up. He spoke about the challenges they faced, the milestones along the way, and how the company has evolved, and where we’re heading next. Honest, inspiring, and straight to the point. After that, the evening continued with great conversations, music, delicious food, and dancing well into the night. That unique team energy you simply can’t fake. And moments like this remind you: behind every company’s growth are its people.
