This is Sled, a typeface drawn purely from a center line, a skeleton. All stroke weight is generated automatically using an auto-stroke process.
It is drawn at a slight angle, with plenty disconnections where strokes meet.
It is available in a single (optical) weight, spanning multiple widths.
Its width can adjust dynamically depending on the amount of text and available space, ranging from Compressed to Regular to Wide.
The .notdef character appears when a glyph is not yet included in the font. Both the .notdef form and the overall character set will receive updates throughout this year. If you’re missing a specific character, drop a line.
As a fully variable typeface, Sled is made to be animated.
The heights are not as strict as they might appear, there is a lot of subtle irregularity.
The current character set supports Danish, German, English, Dutch, and Polish.
Headfirst, no brakes, just like any true skeleton sled.
