Dbeibah discusses activating South development body
Prime Minister Abdulhamid al-Dbeibah has discussed plans to activate the South Development and Reconstruction Authority with his deputy, Salem al-Zadma.
The talks, held on Wednesday, focused on development and service delivery in southern Libya, with Finance Minister Rashid Bougfa also in attendance.
Officials reviewed progress on a number of infrastructure projects and the challenges delaying implementation, stressing the need to accelerate work and complete projects in line with approved plans.

Health ministry warns of counterfeit medicine in circulation
The Ministry of Health has warned that a counterfeit medicine is being circulated in the local market and has called for its immediate withdrawal.
The product, labelled Betacidine, is said to be unsafe and poses a risk to patients, according to the ministry.
In a statement, officials said the alert followed reports from a pharmaceutical company that the fake product had been detected multiple times. It added that the medicine was not manufactured by Pharmaderm and had not been imported through an authorised distributor.
