Imagine…
• A community where no cat or dog suffers, and every animal has access to veterinary care and families who love them.
• A modern space where injured, abused and homeless animals receive top-notch medical care and support.
• A welcoming adoption center where excited families meet their new furry family members in a happy, stress-free environment.
If you can imagine such a world, we invite you to join the Kentucky Humane Society’s All In Campaign to build a new Animal & Community Campus centrally located on the 4900th block of Preston Highway.
ARE YOU ALL IN?
This comprehensive campus will allow us to expand proactive programs that decrease animal suffering, reduce pet overpopulation, help families keep their beloved pets healthy, happy and in their homes, and reduce overcrowding and euthanasia in municipal shelters in Louisville and across Kentucky.
With your investment, KHS will expand and improve dog/cat space, and will provide each year:
• 13,000 spay and neuter surgeries at our S.N.I.P. Clinic
• 6,000 appointments at a new low-cost veterinary clinic
• 7,000+ pet adoptions
• Free counseling and pet resources to 8,000+ stressed families
• Emergency pet fostering for families in crisis
• Humane education for 5,000 children and teens
Resulting in:
• Decreased animal suffering
• Reduced pet overpopulation
• More humane housing for shelter pets
• More resources and less stress for pet guardians
• Fewer animals dying in municipal shelters
• A more compassionate community and state
