The Kern County Builders Exchange has been serving the construction industry in Kern County and surrounding areas since 1929. As a member driven association, the Kern County Builders Exchange was established to facilitate the link between, contractors, architects, and sub-contractors to streamline the bidding process for commercial and public works projects. We promote a collaboration of all different sectors of the industry to work together. Today we formed a collaboration of 22 builders exchanges throughout the state of California to process 17,000 plans every year to provide members the best and most complete opportunities to bid competitively statewide. In our 24/7 online plan room or at our location our members can access plans and specs from projects in Kern County and throughout the State.
With over 500 members who represent every facet of construction and construction-related services, KCBEX has evolved into an active professional association where we serve our members and communities by promoting high ethical and professional standards, providing quality services, industry education, safety training, political advocacy, networking opportunities, and construction resources. Our broad range of services enable member to not only keep pace with the competition, but develop professional relationships that improve their capabilities and long-term success.
