To do so, he has developed some unique and unconventional techniques. He has also developed a &#8220;utility library delivering consistency, customization, performance, and extras,&#8221; called <a href=\"http:\/\/lodash.com\/\">Lo-Dash<\/a>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>While John is an advocate for performance, he wants to do it in a smart way, saying at times that he has seen &#8220;JavaScript developers focus on performance to the point that it\u2019s a negative.&#8221; He is currently a Program Manager at Microsoft, making web apps run master and smoother in Internet Explorer, and a contributor to several open source projects that help developers to write more productive JavaScript.
