Street Eats is an application that allows people to be able to keep track of street food vendors and pop up restaurants.  There are maps that allow the user to locate where particular mobile eating establishments are located.  Menus that allow orders to be placed remotely, to be picked up at a later time.  And individual pages for each participating eatery that gives daily updates, like news, specials, and photo galleries.  This digital project stems from my research of Street Vendors and their interactions with the people and the neighborhoods that they inhabit.  There is a connection between these specific places that serve food and their patrons.  One major problem is that there are times during the day that there is a rush, which results in long lines.  Street Eats has a feature where customers can place an order and pay for their food online.  There is an estimated pick up time, and an indicator that lets the user know that their order is ready.
