Every two years, the directorship of the Network moves sites. For 2025-26, the Network is governed by ODISSEI – National Research Infrastructure for Social Sciences in the Netherlands.
The Executive Committee is Co-Directed by Tom Emery (Executive Director, ODISSEI), Kasia Karpinska (Scientific Manager, ODISSEI), and Angelica Maineri (Data Manager, ODISSEI).
The creation of the IJPDS was inspired by IPDLN. The journal has a regular section for topics of particular interest to the IPDLN.
