Raoul V. Chauvin III, P.E.

Principal Partner

As Principal Partner of Infinity Engineering Consultants, Raoul V. Chauvin, III, P.E. is responsible for all mechanical system designs. Included in those responsibilities are client interface, site inspection and evaluation, contract negotiation, project management, design, and drafting supervision. Mr. Chauvin participates in project review meetings and coordinates project-relevant activities between the Company and the client.

Mr. Chauvin’s professional 35+ year career has revolved around providing cost-effective, efficient design solutions for municipalities, offshore facilities, inland marine terminals, and chemical plants. Additionally, Mr. Chauvin has served as the President of the New Orleans chapter of the Louisiana Engineering Society and is professionally registered in the following eleven states.

William J. Thomassie, P.E.

Principal Partner

As Principal Partner of Infinity Engineering Consultants, William J. Thomassie, P.E. is one of the firm’s registered Supervising Professionals and is responsible for the management of all engineering production. For special projects, his civil/structural education, training, and experience are relied upon to directly provide cost estimation, design supervision, and public outreach coordination.

With many of Infinity’s projects requiring up to $45,000,000 for installation or modifications, Mr. Thomassie’s guidance in the shaping of designs, along with construction support, has enabled project completion on schedule and with minimal adverse impact on commerce in the area. Additionally, Mr. Thomassie holds active professional engineering registration in the following fifteen states.

Rachel Kenney, P.E.

As Infinity Engineering’s Director of Resources, Ms. Kenney oversees the full project life cycle across all disciplines—from proposal development and contract execution to project completion and close-out. In this role, Ms. Kenney collaborates closely with Directors and Department Heads to assign projects to appropriate Project Managers, ensuring balanced workloads and consistent quality across the firm’s operations.

With over twenty-four years of experience in structural and civil design engineering, Ms. Kenney brings a deep technical background and practical understanding of project execution to her leadership role. Ms. Kenney holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and has led the design and specification development for projects including bridges, marine docks, pumping stations, oil and gas facilities, and wastewater treatment plants. Ms. Kenney’s combined technical expertise and strategic oversight allow her to align Infinity’s resources, people, and processes to deliver successful outcomes for clients across all markets.


Nickie Monica

Director of Business Development

Mr. Monica serves as Director of Business Development heading Infinity Engineering’s Capital Region office in Baton Rouge, LA. Prior to joining Infinity, Mr. Monica worked in the petrochemical industry for more than 20 years. He has also served as Louisiana State Representative, two terms as St. John Parish President, and a term on the St. John Parish Council.

While serving as State Representative, Mr. Monica initiated and enhanced relationships with local, state, and executive leaders; worked closely with pro-business interests to pass legislation critical to a strong economy and workforce; and carried legislation that improved the safety and well-being of residents. Mr. Monica was appointed to the House Commerce, Insurance, Judicial, and Special Veterans Affairs Committees.

While serving as Parish President, Mr. Monica was Chief Executive Officer of St. John Parish, which called upon him to work closely with his directors to set departmental goals, implement action plans, and ensure goal achievement. Mr. Monica built relationships locally, statewide, and nationally to secure public and private investments in St. John Parish. With decades of experience in the River Region, Mr. Monica has a proven track record as a business development professional.
