ISO 27001

In 2016, IDBS became ISO 27001 certified. This certification outlines requirements for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), including best practices and security controls that help manage information security risks. It signifies our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data security.

In 2025, IDBS increased the scope of our ISO 27001 certification to include the extended controls for ISO 27017:2015.

SOC 2 and SOC 3

In 2019, IDBS became the first electronic lab notebook provider to achieve SOC 2 compliance. IDBS undergoes annual assessments with an AICPA-registered auditor and can provide SOC 2 Type 2 and SOC 3 audit reports to customers and prospective customers, subject to appropriate confidentiality arrangements. These reports confirm that IDBS has established and maintains a robust framework for internal controls, ensuring accountability and a strong commitment to security.

In 2024, IDBS has successfully expanded its SOC 2 compliance to include the critical trust services criteria for Processing Integrity.

In 2025, IDBS achieved Platinum Pharma Supplier Status from Qualifyze.
This prestigious distinction acknowledges IDBS’ commitment to providing high-quality products and reliable services to the pharmaceutical industry. Qualifyze is the biggest third-party audit provider worldwide, which helps streamline the entire supplier audit process for healthcare and pharma companies.

In 2025 & 2026, IDBS achieved a Bronze Medal from EcoVadis, a global leader in business sustainability assessments. IDBS scored a 65, placing the company in the top 80^th percentile globally.

The EcoVadis assessment evaluates 21 sustainability criteria across four core themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. More than 130,000 companies globally have been rated by EcoVadis.
