Who was Markus Sittikus?
Markus Sittikus von Hohenems (* 1574 - † 1619) was the Prince-Archbishop of Salzburg in the 17th century. From 1613 to 1615, he had Hellbrunn built as a pleasure palace just outside the gates of Salzburg to host his guests in style—and to delight them with its Trick Fountains.
