It begins with high-starch Idaho potatoes, grown in rich volcanic soil and cold mountain air. Their density and purity create a cleaner starch base — the starting point for a vodka that’s smooth even at 90 Proof. After harvest, the potatoes are washed, chopped, and prepared for fermentation.

The potatoes are gently heated to release starches, then cooled and mixed with natural enzymes and yeast.
Unlike many vodkas that rush fermentation in a day or two, Hard Cut ferments for five days, allowing the flavors and texture to fully develop.
The result is a purer spirit with a subtle weight and creamy character which is the unmistakable profile of potato vodka. -
During distillation, precision determines perfection. Only the heart of the spirit is kept — the cleanest, purest part of the run. 1.5oz (45ml) Hard Cut Vodka 0.75oz (22.5ml) coldbrew coffee liqueur, preferably Mr. Black
1oz (30ml) hot espresso coffee
1-2 barspoons (5-10ml) of rich* sugar syrup, according to taste
Shake hard for 10 seconds with ice, strain into V-shaped martini glass.
Garnish: Expressed lemon zest and 3 coffee beans

Stir for 45 seconds on ice & strain into rocks glass over a single oversized ice cube.
