For example, Terre dei Vestini and Casauria are both within the province of Pescara, so they fall within the larger Colline Pescaresi subzone. And Casauria was recently elevated to a separate DOCG in 2025 but has not yet been removed as a subzone of the DOC. First sorry for the mistake with the year, since it was of course already last year (May 31st 2025) that the change was communicated in France. I am aware of the difference between national amendments and the amendments demanding final EU approval. In this case the original request for the changes published in JORF in september 2024 clearly states that it is the opening of a national procedure for a modification of the cahier des charges so there should be no need for a final EU approval on this one. As for the missing publication in the EU-system, my guess is that it is a matter of delay. The previous changes from december 2024 wasn't published before July 2025. If the criteria here for updating is the publication in the EU-system (even for natioanl amendments) I guess you should link to the 2024-version of the cahier des charges.

Hi Martin,

Nathan T.
