The IBM Data Science tools are leading solutions for large enterprises. Their data management and analytics software already includes SPSS Modeler and SPSS Statistics. It is enhanced by the IBM Watson Studio toolkit.

Data science toolkit from IBM Watson Studio

IBM has a huge global client base and looks to be adding value to these clients by modernizing and expanding its machine-learning and data science offering. IBM are strong proponents of open source technology and DSx is likely to be one of the more appealing data science platforms for enterprises seeking modern, flexible and future-proof solutions for users at every level.

Many data scientists will appreciate IBM’s committed to Spark, contribution to open-source SystemML technology and over 170 extensions giving SPSS users access to external APIs and models for Algorithmia machine-learning. IBM also has partnerships with open-source providers that include the likes of Continuum Analytics, H2O.ai and Databricks.

DSx offers some for of the best data science tools for enterprise, enabling users to learning, create and collaborate with their teams better and faster. The toolkit includes:

  • IBM Watson Machine Learning for creating predictive analytics models
  • Jupyter Notebooks for creating and collborating on Python, R and Scala
  • RStudio – the free, open source tool for working with R.
