Established in 1887, the Boston Athletic Association’s (B.A.A.) mission is to promote a healthy lifestyle through sports, especially running. The Boston Athletic Association is committed to a world where all people can access and benefit from running and an active lifestyle. Funds raised by the B.A.A. Gives Back Marathon Team will strengthen the B.A.A.’s community initiatives while also providing essential support to expand access to our sport in the cities and towns along the Boston Marathon course and beyond. Current initiatives include:
