Laptop

A laptop is a small portable computer having a number of features. It can be treated as a replacement for a desktop. Because most of the tasks which are performed in the laptop can also be performed by the laptop.

  • They usually weigh around 1.4 to 5.4 kg.
  • Laptops support more features and can run almost any modern operating system.

Netbook

Netbook is a type of smaller-size laptop with fewer components. It can't be treated as a replacement of a laptop because we can perform many tasks like laptops but not all tasks. These are smaller in size than a laptop and generally vary from 7 inches to 13 inches.

  • Netbooks usually weigh between 0.9 kg and 1.4 kg.
  • They have fewer features, suitable only for basic or general tasks.
  • Due to their low cost, many netbooks run Linux or older versions of Windows.

Advantages of Netbook :
