Effective March 1, 2026, Caroline Sasia is appointed Communications Senior Vice President. She takes over the Group’s Communications and Public Affairs responsibilities from Victoria Chanial, who will leave the Group to pursue new professional opportunities.

As part of this organizational evolution, responsibility for Sustainability (CSR) will now be led by Carla Gohin, Executive Vice President, Group Chief Strategy Officer, ensuring strong alignment between innovation, engineering and FORVIA’s sustainability commitments.

Caroline’s career spans the semiconductor, deep tech and automotive sectors spending over 20 years at Groupe Renault and within the Renault–Nissan–Mitsubishi Alliance, where she held senior roles driving transformation, innovation and communication.

We’re glad to be shaping the design of the new all-electric BMW iX3 with the world’s first Front Phygital Shields!

In combustion cars, the front area is mostly taken up by the radiator grille.
With EVs, this space opens up completely, which gives designers and engineers room to rethink how the front looks and functions.

That’s what @FORVIA HELLA's Front Phygital Shields were designed for.
They bring lighting, styling elements, and sensing into a scalable module.

On the iX3, this means a redesigned interpretation of the BMW kidneys, new horizontal full LED headlamps, and integrated radar sensing.

The result is a front signature that supports electric mobility, automated driving, and brand differentiation.

At FORVIA HELLA, this creates an entirely new product category that will become fundamental within the lighting portfolio.

At FORVIA Seating, we turn this material into high value-added components through our core manufacturing expertise.

That material is steel.
Inside our plants, steel goes through multiple forming processes to meet strict automotive standards and the demands of mass production.

Some parts, like seat recliners, require extremely precise shaping.

To cut the carbon footprint of these steel components, we’ve been working with key partners across the entire steel value chain.
Together, we’ve aligned on future volumes of CO₂ reduced and fully decarbonized steel.

Today, FORVIA Seating is ready to shift 70% of its European steel portfolio to lower emission alternatives.

It’s a concrete step forward. And it brings us closer to designing products with a significantly smaller environmental footprint.
