Greenfluencer, model and founder Belle & Co
Elize Been (39) is Holland’s first greenfluencer. She works as a model, content creator and creative producer, using her everyday life and choices to make sustainable living more relatable and accessible.
Active in the creative industry since 2015, Elize has grown into a trusted voice within the Dutch sustainability space, known for her honest storytelling and strong sense of integrity.
Sustainability, for Elize, is not about perfection but about progress. She shares this journey openly with her community on Instagram and only works with conscious brands that truly understand their impact. She researches where and how products are made and is never just a face, but an involved and critical partner.
Elize is also the founder of the sustainable model and influencer agency Belle & Co. From January 2026, she will launch her own podcast, where she goes deeper into the stories behind sustainable living.
Sustainability, not a trend
Sustainability is not a theme in Elize’s work, it is the starting point. It shows up in everything she does, often in the small, everyday choices. Not because she aims for perfection, but because she chooses to do her best, every single day.
Nature and animals play an important role in her life and strongly influence the brands she works with. Elize only collaborates with companies that take responsibility for their social and environmental impact and actively avoid greenwashing. She asks questions, does her research and looks beyond the polished story.
Before becoming a full-time model and content creator, Elize worked for years as a social worker in underprivileged neighbourhoods and with people experiencing homelessness and addiction. This background shaped her strong sense of responsibility, fairness and care for others, and continues to guide her work today.
Through her content, Elize shows that sustainable choices don’t have to be perfect or heavy, but can be human, realistic and sometimes even a little light-hearted.

She shares it all. From small conscious choices to bigger questions, from what works to what really doesn’t. On Eco Fail Fridays, Elize focuses on the moments that go wrong, because being honest matters just as much as moving forward.
She also gives an unfiltered look behind the scenes of the modeling world. The highlights, but also the insecurities and the parts that usually stay off camera. Her deep love for animals and her clear aversion to the bio-industry run through everything she does. Every month, her content reaches millions of views.
