Astrology, Crystals, Tarot, and Other Interesting Ideologies
My name is Saffron, and I am based in the East Anglia region of the UK. Astrology has been a part of my life since my early teens in the late ’80s, starting as many astrologers of the time did with the psychological style of Modern Astrology. Although I did not complete my studies at the school, I began my official training in 2006 at the Faculty of Astrology. I then continued with self-study, workshops, short classes, and membership in the Bedford Astrology Club. In 2019, I began establishing new skills in Hellenistic Astrology through studies in Chris Brennan’s course, which has now become integrated into my astrology practice.
Those studies led me to a deeper, spiritual, and devotional approach to Hellenistic Astrology through my tutor and mentor, Adam Elenbaas, at Nightlight Astrology. I am now truly honoured to work with Adam and my fellow staff at the school. Adam’s classes are life-changing in many ways; spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually. I would love to see you join us at the school to experience the joy of learning this ancient divinatory art form.
I have also had the pleasure of studying with Sue Ward, a truly talented traditional astrologer whose experience in William Lilly’s work is unsurpassed. Sue’s humour and generosity of spirit are a contagious duo, making her classes fun and informative.
In 2025, I was honoured to be invited to join the Board of Trustees at the Astrological Association, UK.
Along with my studies in astrology, I have spent many years delving into various topics. In 2025, I received my diploma with the Spiritual Companions Trust as a Spiritual Coach, Companion & Caregiver.
My love of working with the crystal world has spanned more than two decades, culminating in my first FHT-recognised diploma in 2008 with my teacher Tracy Joanne. I have revisited that work with Jackie Winters at the British Academy of Crystal Healing, taking the diploma again to refresh my knowledge. I believe it is important to continue learning and expanding from the foundational level all the way up.
In the past, but no longer practising, I hold qualifications as a holistic beauty therapist and as a tarot reader, and was a member of TABI, passing their qualification many years ago. I also hold an RHS level 3 qualification in Horticulture and a level 2 in Understanding Mental Health.
I volunteer co-facilitating a monthly online group for the organisation Action For Happiness, which is a movement of people taking action to create a happier and kinder world, together. You are very welcome to join our group or one close to you, wherever you are in the world.
