The AM-105 amplifier has been designed for outdoor use as a mast device. The item can be applied within small antenna installations (several to a dozen or so outlets). It is recommended both in situations of low signal and when a compensation of long cable's attenuation is needed - e.g. of the long cable between an antenna and the rest of installation with channel ZG amplifiers (or CA-210 amplifiers). It should be remembered that the amplifier requires 24V power supply - the proper supplier has to be employed.

An interesting feature of the amplifier is an additional output of -15 dB level (in relation to the main output). It may be put into action for easy coupling of a signal meter during adjustment of the amplifier and positioning the antenna system as well as for connecting additional signal line terminated with maximum 4 outlets.

AM-105 amplifiers are powered via coaxial cable with 24 V DC stabilized supplier equipped with DC separator. In compliance with their design, the amplifiers are to be mount at masts in open spaces. To avoid a risk of damage during installation the power should not be switched on until all connections have been made and checked out. The power supply AL-100 (R90386) or ZS 24/100 (R90346) are dedicated for the amplifiers' feeding. It is also possible to power that devices using special separator named "DC-Input Combiner IM-024" (R90502), with the aid of supplier for channel amplifiers AS-102 (R90500), of course when it has been applied within the installation.
