The tool is designed to cut windows in ULTIMODE BS easy access cables. The tool is simple to use and does not damage the fibers. It is intended for the following ULTIMODE BS cables:
  • BS-12SM - 12 fibers - L7712
  • BS-24SM - 24 fibers - L7724
In the case of using the tool for stripping the ULTIMODE BS-12SM cable with 12 fibers ( L7712), the stripper has to be equipped with the included adapter. It protects the cable of small diameter against excessively deep cut and risk of damaging the fibers.
The window must be located between the two aramid strands strengthening the cable sheath. The window should have a length of 80 mm.
