Hello E/everyone. I am a Dominant male who has been out of the Lifestyle for a while now. Just here to chat and flirt.
I thought I would update this a bit. I see a lot of "REAL Dominants are..." or "REAL submissives are..." types of comments in profiles.
I'm sure there are plenty of fakes out here, and as a Dom, I apologize for all of the "Hello. I'm X. Now get on your knees, slave!" type of introductions.
I've been in and out of the lifestyle for a while now, mainly because I've grown tired of people looking for some fantasy person who doesn't meet their expectations. Just like in the real world, you're going to run into people who match you to a degree, and those who don't match you at all. If you put up 25 restrictions for a potential Dom or sub, you're going to be disappointed because you're not going to find a match for all 25 criteria. And trust me, people who say they'll settle with a "match of most"-- won't. There will always be something that the other person doesn't like, or doesn't want.
Instead of looking for someone absolutely perfect, look for someone you click with. Even the perfect match will experience conflict-- it's part of human nature to find some flaw in other humans. Enjoy it. Enjoy the flaws in your partner. If you were always trying to live up to a perfect partner, you'll never be happy.
And one more thing on here-- there are different types of dominance. Some are very physical, some are lightly physical, some are more of a giving dominance by a submissive, and others are a mental dominance state.
Don't assume one Dominant is a fake because you don't like the way He/She acts. It just shows how little you really know about the "Lifestyle".
