Quoted writings often do injustice to the true nature of a D/s relationship. However, I found that the chronicles recorded in the fictional works of John Norman best describe the feelings that true, submissive women accept, even embrace.
The comparisons between fictional world and real life relationships based upon the BDSM lifestyle are many and varied. One would argue that without the constraints of society, men would conquer women, wholly and completely.
While I am not so delusional to believe that this world is a fantasy, I am quite engaged in the fact that I fall on the dominant side of the spectrum. I am also emotionally stable, secure, confident, and capable.
I expect trust and respect, in return the same will be given. I don't expect to control every aspect of a potential partner's life; I do not believe it is possible in this world unless one relinquishes every facet of their personality and social interaction. Do not get me wrong, under the right circumstances, perhaps, but that is only a perhaps.
Thats a brief view of my thoughts, and from that you can surmise what I am looking for. For those that need it written out: a woman who accepts and understands the D/s relationship. Open conversation at first, after all, we do need to get to know one another to see if our views are truly compatible.
I do not want a one night stand, or casual random sex. It is time to expect more and find a woman that wishes the same. I would hope this also implies that a level of maturity is a must as well, but playfulness is always a plus. |
