Tonight I'm making kimchi, using Chinese cabbage that I grew in my organic garden, plus some strange ingredients that I acquired at the Asian food market. I don't know how it will come out - but having fun trying.
Earlier I made a dish from Fava beans that I grew in my garden, shelled and blanched, then cooked - it came out tasty though it smelled weird.
