To answer the questions about my ethnic background:

My dad is American - from Minnesota - both of his parents are fully Norwegian all the way back to when the family immigrated several generations ago.

My mom is Japanese, born and raised in Hawaii.  The name Sora is Japanese.

So now you know.

Fascinating Fact de jour:  Sora is my real name.  And it's not that unusual a name in some places in the world.

Is this the level of intelligence I should expect from this site?  I got this message from someone who needs medication, I think: 

"Age?  What about the fact that you are an uneducated moron?  Get over yourself, skank.  You're a nobody, and everybody knows it..."

With all due respect (really) to those who have written to tell me that age is just a number, I have to disagree.  Age is much more than just a number.  It has a great deal of meaning and significance.  Other numbers also mean things.

If I were 3 feet tall and weighed 400 pounds would you say that height and weight are just numbers?

When you get pulled over by the police for speeding, do you tell them that speed is just a number?  How does that work out for you?

Or, when you get arrested for having sex with a 15 year old girl you can just tell the judge...  well, you know.
