The hardest thing I ever had to do in my Life! After a 17 day stay in the hospital my wife passed away on March 7th, 2018. I buried her on Tuesday. In those 17 days I watched her go from 136 pounds when I admitted her to under 100 pounds when she passed. They were crushing her medication to keep her blood pressure up and by the 3rd day she could no longer eat or drink because the medication tore her mouth up. After 12 days they finally took her off the pill and added it to her IV but it was too late. She had lost too much strength to continue her fight. On the 15th day the Doctors realized they were treating her for the wrong problem but it was too late. She made her own decision to be removed from the IV's and passed away quietly. We were only married for 2-1/2 years but they were wonderful and I have truly lost a soul mate.
