I'm tall, successful and most importantly from a terrific traditional family,I have high standards (morals, goals, etc) and I value them as well as my family who brought me up that way.
I've traveled the USA and seen that beauty exists everywhere if you take time to seek it out. Similar can be said of relationships. Take your time and seek out quality not quantity. I attribute that philosophy to my parents' bliss of 47 years. They have always understood the importance of compromise and sacrifice for family and the importance of reality in relationships - something which seems to have been lost in nuclear age courtship.

I like to spend time traveling, hiking, exploring and photographing nature whenever I have the opportunity. Photos are from CA, CT, UT, OR, ID, WY (geography test) but most photos are from the Grand Tetons in 2006. I took a fantastic vacation there for 10 days. Skyward reaching mountains, mirror surfaced lakes, rambling rivers, majestic eagles, moose, deer, wolves, osprey, badgers, beavers and the local history museums, National Elk Refuge, National Museum of Wildlife Art and local art galleries.

Just visited (May 07) the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa - terrific western art and bronze sculptures. For landscapes I enjoyed Bierstadt's the most. He focused on beautiful, large natural scenes. For bronzes the best were definitely Remington's. Lots of superb cowboy and indian related paintings/artwork/exhibits.

Looking for an intelligent woman with character, class, style and passion and who likes to travel (atleast once in awhile). When I talk of character you should already know what I mean - you can't learn it - it's already within you or not. You should have a good sense of humor, appreciate nature and art, have a sense of adventure, clean up well for a night out or outdoors, and turn (good) convictions into actions. I personally like to spend time getting to know someone - atleast twice a week doing something together (a dinner, movie, play, concert, walking, hiking, etc). It gives me, and hopefuly you, a better idea of the person inside and out. I don't value drama or any games. I communicate in a straightforward fashion and I expect the same in return - verbal rather than subliminal.

Relationships are truly great when people connect on all levels (heart, mind, body and soul). After a decent email or two, then some phone calls, I prefer to meet in person. If we appreciate one another as is, we could become best friends, confidants and more.

There are lots of great women in this venue but THE special one that gets my blood boiling in the right way and my insides spinning has eluded me so far.
