IF I see something of interest in your male/female/whatever profile, I may choose to contact you. I can't believe how many idiots are out there, unable to read & follow simple guidelines, so I color-coded them:
MALES, you're the ones with the 2 unsightly skin bubbles dangling between your legs, do NOT waste electrons and my precious time sending E-mails or Chat requests. They are deleted unread.
FEMALES, provide coherent, thoughtful writing in your messages. Sending something like "OMG, UR so tall, can we be friends......" is truly pathetic.
