	I am. What more can be said? But you will want to have a better idea of what that entails, so here we go. I am a single professional with a complicated private life. No, I am not married. Nor have I ever been. But my time is not always my own. Anyone I interact with from here will not need to concern themselves over those particulars as they will not be involved. I am financially stable, I can pay my way through whatever activities I choose to undertake. However, that does not mean that I will be a sugar daddy. When I give a gift it is in the form of an experience, not a material object. A personal philosophy that serves me well. I am fit, I honestly don't think it is possible for me to gain weight. I look far younger than I am. A circumstance that has it's ups and downs, still getting carded for cigarettes gets annoying. I am also reasonably healthy, I am not a health nut but I am rarely sick and have never carried a disease. I can say that I am intelligent, but that is irrelevant as there are so many different methods of measuring such things that there is no solid standard by which to say "I am here". So judge for yourself, preferably after you actually take the time to hold a conversation with me. I am not religious. More so that I am under the impression that I will deal with the hereafter when I actually get there. Until then, I have better things to focus my time and energy on. That should give you a basis, upon which you can make the decision whether or not to type a few sentences in a little box. Now, for why I have started this little profile. I am considering returning to the local BDSM community after a long hiatus. While I still have many contacts within the community, making the trip up to events simply to rub elbows and reconnect with people in between their own play sessions does not strike me as the best use of my time. So, I am looking for someone who can accompany me to these events, meet some of the movers and shakers within the LA community, and enjoy some play time in between. I am not looking for simple arm candy, in fact your personal opinion of your level of attractiveness is irrelevant to me. I am looking for someone who will not be an embarrassment to me. So, you must have a genuine interest in the lifestyle. You must be respectful, and have a clue as to what the word etiquette means. I do not require experience, as that is something that I can impart upon you. However, an interest in learning the different aspects of the community, the lifestyle, and individual items of play is a must. As far as physicality goes, I have no major preferences in race or age range. You should appear to take regular care of yourself. This includes grooming and level of fitness. I do not mean spa treatments and six pack abs, but if you have a strongly noticeable BO and are spilling out of your clothes in ways that are not intended I will have issue. And finally, you should have a modicum of financial stability of your own. I do not care if you have a career and own your own home, but you should be able to provide for your own emergency transportation and have your own spending money, for both of our comfort levels. I am looking for only LOCAL people. I have no interest in OL play, and it does not meet the desires I have listed above, this means that if you reside outside of the LA/OC/Riverside counties you had better have your own vehicle and the means to travel here. I will give preference to those who express interest in mentoring, I have a lot to teach and have found that I enjoy doing so. My thoughts on brats.

Brats can be very enjoyable playmates, unfortunately those who are unable or unwilling to control this nature of theirs make poor submissives for me. Now, do not take this as me saying that all brats are bad submissives, it is simply for me "needing" to constantly enforce my will on someone for no other reason than they are being contrary involves far too much effort for what is given in return. Now there may come along a sub who's intrinsic worth is of such that they would be worth such an unceasing effort. Alas, I have yet to encounter such a rare creature.

So for me, a brat without self control is not collaring material. Perfectly fine with friendships and occasional play, but that is all.

I like the thing I like, you like the things that you like. The entire purpose of personal ads is to find someone whose likes at least closely match, or complement, your own. Anything else is doomed to a short life span and disillusionment.

New information/clarification.

I am not a fan of Dolcett's work. If you have anything other than an artistic appreciation of his art, we will not see eye-to-eye.

Also, I am not Gorean. While I may steal certain idea's form Mr. Norman's literature, I do not go any further into it. They are interesting works of fiction, and in my opinion should stay that way.

This may alert you to a trend in my thinking. I am a realist, while I am in the habit of guiding submissives to the realization of their goals in life I make a clear distinction in what is obtainable (Legally) and what is not. I refuse to waste my time on something I can not obtain or that in the obtaining must be hidden from all eyes to prevent prosecution.

There are plenty of interesting and enjoyable aspects of this lifestyle that are if not easily obtainable they are least still legally obtainable. So I will conserve my time and energy and focus on things that I can realistically have in my life.
