Shade

Somewhere along the Gulf Coast. Warm water, underneath the shade of a palm in September reading a book. Watching the waves crest and lap up against the shore. That’s what I’d ideally be doing right now. That’s why I live in Cleveland. ;)

I like being outside usually, even though I burn easily. Camping, hiking, canoeing, I would also like to learn how to snorkle and scuba diving. I dream about being able to buy a nice ocean going yacht and sail around the world, but unless I win the lotto that is going to stay a dream, those things are expensive.

I liked going out into the parks and woods around my house to go hiking, it was one of the reasons I worked for the Medina County Park District during one summer in my youth. When I got older and had to get longer term employment, I had less and less time for it.
Love the water, one of the best times I had was just sitting on the steps into my sister's inground pool, while I read a book. The water temp was just perfect, the sun was angled right so I wasn't directly in it. One of the many reasons why I'd rather be along the Gulf Coast instead of Ohio. Love the snow hate the cold.
