I have always been a pleaser. Most have thought this a bad thing, and have encouraged assertiveness. But it just isn't natural, and I'm not very good at it. I am a fish out of water when forced into that role. I need the strong hand to guide, the visionary leader with a plan. I will give myself heart, mind, and soul to what inspires me, and what captures my mind. Making others happy IS where I find my joy. I have finally reached the point where I can freely admit that, and not fight against what I was born to be.
I suppose what I seek is the needle in the haystack. I don't see slaves as doormats. In fact, a slave is probably the strongest, most courageous, and most adaptable of all the "categories." It is perhaps because of this strength and maleability that they have an unending need to be humiliated, and to have their status as property reinforced. There is no room for self, or selfishness, in the heart of a slave.
I believe slaves are property in the truest sense of the word. As such, slaves may not define any limits. A slave lacks the capacity by its very nature to influence or control how a Master chooses to use his property. Slaves don't have preferences, but adopt the preferences and desires of the one who owns them. It makes writing a profile like this extremely difficult, as I understand that others want to know what I think, or feel, or believe. But what I will become in the hands of a Master is 100% the determination of the Master. What I describe here to help people sort their interest IS NOT intended to set some script or role or conditions of service. It is simply my beliefs as they exist today.
I believe that enslavement is not what happens with a collar and a cage. Wise masters know this, and free their slaves to be productive by taking captive their heart and mind. It isn't about tributes, or vanity, or power... it is about BEING - day in and day out, no matter what you are DOING.
My ideal master would see the slave for what it is, and want to help it reach its potential - in all areas of life - just as that master would expect the slave to help the master achieve full potential. This master will value class and elegance, not wish to make a slut or a whore. This master won't be defined by labels, or constrained by convention, but is confident in his own style, and eager to pursue the unique creation of master and slave as one.
For me, BDSM and TPE are two completely different things. My pleasure is really derived from the TPE side. It is a relationship dynamic, not a kink-fest. BDSM may be a part of that relationship dynamic, but the driver is not the ACTS... it is the EXISTENCE within power exchange that is my heartbeat and desire.
