TO DREAM OF A MAN (written 12-16-09)
A man who looks like he makes the world turn just by smiling
But melts when he thinks of his love for me.
A man proud to be my man and believes I could change the world with a blink of my eyes.
A man that always keeps me hanging on edge but strong enough to pull me back up.
A man that will always push me to succeed my own expatiations of myself.
If he only realizes he’s always exceeded mine.
A man that will stand by me till the end of time.
A man that make me go wild just by thinking about him but my body stubbornly refuses to move.
A man that will love me for who and what I am.
A man that never expects me to bend and brake my life for his own selfish endeavors but would give my dying breath to help him succeed and he never to accept it.
As he takes a drag from his cigarette and I glance upon his beautiful eyes I understand he will always want and need me.
