me asking this question: Why do you suppose that asking a woman what she is wearing such an important question?

His Reply: I do believe it has to do with a form of power transfer and a dom's egotistical need to assert himself and the humiliation factor in quickly overtaking a submissive. Plus it jars the imagination into overdrive in the fact that she is rendered a piece of property even before she is owned. The little boys must play at domming you know. And they also must "bully" a submissive as if that makes her more responsive.
