I am definitely a submissive though I tend to put my balance at 70-30 sub-dom. For me an intellectual connection is paramount, this doesn't necessarily mean being into the same things but it means that I relate best to people who have a good balanced head on their shoulders, this includes technical, common sense intelligence. I have just moved to Melbourne and am finding my feet. I am beginning to explore the kink scene here and any info on kink events or awesome fetish shops would be muchly appreciated. Goth events too :D, though google is serving me well there. :D
I am a proud geek, with a touch of nerd :D. I am a bit of a gamer (mainly old school Computer games and a few MMORPG's). I like my Sci-fi and will quote Bab 5, the new Dr Who or British comedy without fail :D. I enjoy socialising and going out with awesome people :D. I'm a cafe kinda gal; you'd be most likely to find me sipping a (dairy free) coffee in a cafe writing on my old laptop or reading a good book. In the evening you'd probably find me all vinyled up at a goth/retro/alternative/BDSM club, dancing my little booty away.
I am also a hug slut so be warned :D.
My priority I suppose is meeting kinky people I connect with, play for me is wonderful but if I don't have a connection with someone then I don't get as much of the joy from it. This doesn't have to be deep serious relationship stuff, but at least friendship. If you cannot appreciate my mind and will, the appreciation of my body will be seriously lacking. :D.
One of my biggest areas of interest is power play and role play, for me play needs to incorporate both the psychological and the physical.... mmm resistance play... *private moment :D*

P.S. I am not a person who is particularly interested in being trained. I love to learn but it is an exploratory thing, a journey of questions and the search for answers. Connected to that is the statement that I am not a slave I am a sub, I am not owned by others, I am responsible for me, my own actions and choices.
P.P.S. For me to call anyone ‘master/mistress,’ they need to have earned my respect. I will never call anyone master/mistress from the get go, there needs to be a relationship of respect and understanding for me to consider it. Cheers. MC

Once more in the journaling breach dear friends. :D. Ok I want to put this up here because my ponderings about realtionships etc has chaged recently. I am not interested in a poly (or most other kinds of non-manogomous) relationship, I respect others wish or desire to have them but they are not for me at the mo.
I am also not interested if you just want play, I find simple play mates face to face not online. I am looking for people who can converse first and foremost, play is second.
I am also not the insipid type that rolls over every time someone says I think you are hot. I thankyou for the complements, but it wil take more than that to grab my attention.

I may take a while to reply to e-mails I do try to reply to all. I am a bit of a socialite so it is diffcult for me to spend a night on a computer doing e-mail. So be patient and I will usually reply even if it is with a 'that's not my thing.' Cheers MC :D
