I finally get it. I understand now that the Dom(me)s I have been exposed to and played with are extremely exceptional, far and above what is standard in this lifestyle. Expecting anyone else to be capable of operating at their level is unfair to the society as a whole. Please forgive me for setting impossible levels of expectation, and having the gall to think any of you could meet them.
