About LittleLigeia
I am a young Ph.D student with darker tendencies. I am a transplant from up north, and although I find that the bay suits me well, I miss the company of my kinkier friends from home.
Words are an essential part of attraction for me, and a man who can wield them is irresistible. I know that many women say that appearances don't matter, but in my case I think it's a bit more true. All I truly care about is, well, I suppose what most people call "intellect", but it's not really that, is it? It's really a debonair craftiness, mixed with some absolute ability to wound. That being said, I'm not interested in recreational emotional sadists. If you delight in sadness, I am not your girl. If you delight in fear...well...
If I am not reading, then I'm most likely poking my head into some movie theatre or eating at a restaurant someone I respected recommended. I prefer to this forum as it is mildly more civilized--you can find me under the same name there, but don't friend me. We're not friends until we've become such, yes?
My taste in films says more about me than I could in 100 lines and I never deal in favorites, only "top fives". I've tried to keep this updated in the way that I try to be a good girl...

Dear Sirs,
My apologies for being so remiss in answering your fascinating inquiries. I am in the middle of finals, and my little fingers are being rubbed down to the bone. Ah, if I could meet a man who could save me from Derrida.
I changed my profile image because I was upset by a rather unseemly encounter--no stalkers for this little one. As my profile states, I am more than happy to share my image with those who are charming enough to earn it (wink)
I've been up to my ears this week in Hitchcock, and try as I might, I can't stop slavering over Sean Connery in Marnie. He is not generally an attractive figure in my world, but there's something about the way he says, "Yes, that's what I'll call you. Marnie." that stops my heart in my tracks. Mmm.
A special thorn will lodge in my heart for the man who knows what film my current profile pic comes from.
This time next week I'll be a free woman (free from school, that is.) Here's to summer!
