I don't reside in Cyberland. Life is too short and I need something real. I am delighted to say that CM isn't all about fakes and timewasters. I have met a wonderful man via this site. It is unfortunate that circumstances dictate that we are destined to be no more than friends, but I am very thankful for having been given the opportunity - through CM - to make a new and delightful friend. See? Life here is not all about negatives.

Guys, guys, guys... standards please. If you expect us ladies to make an effort for you, then please do so for us. If you are a "Dom" who poses in a leather "executioner" style mask, with leather trousers and clutching your favourite flogger/cane we are not likely to get on. Equally, if you think a baseball cap is a "cool fashion accessory" and wear a tracksuit but have never done any exercise in your life we will not get on. There's nothing wrong with being "normal"! :)

I received yet another aggressive email from yet another so-called Dom accusing me of all sorts of things this time because I do not use any form of 'chat' facility. I composed a well crafted, mature response to find he had blocked me! Coward... So I have updated my profile to make it clear that I don't use MSN. Does that make me a fake? No! Does it make me any less serious about what I seek? Of course not! |

It is most unfortunate that we, as human individuals, cannot accept something that we see as outside the norm.
We set ourselves standards, limits and expectations, which enable us to function within our chosen social structure.
Anything that falls outside of that will be treated at best with suspicion, at worst with contempt.
I find myself in a "BDSM No Man's Land" as a result of not fitting into the pre-defined categories of submissive, slave, switch or dominant.
I adore bondage and that should, it seems, make me a submissive. Not so. My behaviour and attitude is far from submissive!
To compound matters it seems that 99% of people who might be prospective suitors are also very keen on spanking (and cannot understand why I am not).
So I shall continue to wander around with the tumbleweed in the hope that eventually I will bump into someone coming in the opposite direction!

Wow... I got an email from a 'Dom' yesterday and after a brief exchange he asked for my phone number. I explained I was not comfortable to give that information to him and he threw his toys out of his pram and called me 'a player'!
He's now sending me unsolicited aggressive emails accusing me of all sorts of things!
I'm very pleased I listened to my instincts on that one....
