So a little about me
?
A Potted History - Dec '13
?
First and foremost my number one aim in life is to laugh and make those around me laugh either with me, or as it's been known, at me if I'm having a moment. Whilst I can be serious when the need requires it, most of the time I'm looking to find the funny side of any situation. I'm very laid back and may come across as a little quite for those meeting me for the first time, but that's because I like to listen to people in the first instance, as I take great interest in what they have to say, before I start to warm up and open up myself. Small talk isn't always my forte, but try shutting me up if it's a topic I'm passionate about. I guess that's where gags can come into their own ? right!?
Everyday interests include music, gym or swim a couple of times a week, play golf, love motorsport and socialise with friends. I'm also a massive film fan.
I've always been and felt submissive from an earlier age, a follower not a leader. I'd often end up tied to the Willow tree at the bottom of my folks garden by some of the older girls on our street. In my teens the main Eureka moment was realising there was a world/social scene out there where my thoughts and fantasies were accepted and could be explored. I have to thank the News of The World and Frank Bough's extra cirricular activities for that, though granted he did go through the professional channels!
So having spent numerous years on the outside looking I decided to attend my first Nottingham Munch in my early 30s. Several years passed with a attending a munch as I built my own confidence and indepedance up by buying a house and sampling the delight of living on my own. I then found myself at the start of 2012 returned to the ranks of singledom with bags of time in my social calendar and my two of my three closest mates having moved much further afield. The in April 2012 I received a memo through IC which took me in a brand new direction ?...
Out and about
?
I've now been out and about on the scene for about a year as of March 2013 and have frequently attended play and social events ever since. My appearance on the scene is due in no small part to the help of a certain someone who knows who they are. Without their help I wouldn't be where or who I am today within the scene.
As for my interests, I've been fortunate to explore quite a lot of them, but by no means is this a closed book, quite the opposite, I've got loads of things I want to explore given the opportunity. Ask me what sort of sub I am I'm still working that out, there's a bit of a service sub side to me, as I'm a people please as I've been informed, I can take pain too but it more a case of taking it for the person I'm with, but that's not to say I don't enjoy it though, far from it! I just love to be the one under someone elses control and have the occasional decision made for me as I spend most of my day at work telling everyone else what to do! |
