UPDATE:
Hiya everyone,
I'm sorry about just disappearing for a month or so...but I won't be coming on again much - or maybe even at all. I'm now in a vanilla relationship, and while it won't have all this stuff, he's a really great guy and I don't know...we're just exploring at the moment. But I feel it's wrong to be coming on here, or chatting to people behind his back.
To all the people I've been chatting to; I'm sorry for just leaving - this past month I've been really caught up in both work and this new relationship, so I haven't really had time to come on, and now, as I say, I don't feel comfortable doing anything behind his back. Hi,
I'm a young female domme, who has little experience with BDSM, but has been interested in it for years, and wants to find out more about it. As my profile says, I'm mainly looking for friends and people to discuss BDSM etc with, though I'd be willing to start an online romance type thing as well. I'm not, at this stage, looking for any real-life meetings or anything like that. I'm too new to this, and frankly I don't have the experience I'd need to do a real life scene.
It'd be great to find some like-minded people to talk with and increase my knowledge, and get to know other people with the same interests.

OK, I want to thank everyone for all the messages I've received and I'm sorry if I've been too busy to get back to some of you.
Life is getting really hectic for me now, so I won't be able to reply to many at the moment. I'm currently chatting to a lot of people, and I don't really have time for much more, to be honest.
So I'm sorry, but unless what you say really impresses me, I probably won't be getting back to you at the moment.

Well it's been almost a week now since I joined CM and I thought I'd comment on how it's gone so far. I was going to update my profile as well since seeing the detail some people go to rather puts me to shame, but it turns out that's not easy to do from a mobile phone.
Everyone always seems to mention all the scammers and the fakes on here, but to be honest I haven't found it nearly as problematic as everyone suggested. I mean they're out there sure, and it can be annoying, but I find half those messages amusing in a ridiculous way. Plus it hasn't really been that difficult working out who they are.
I've met some really decent people and enjoy talking to you all, I'm having my first few experiences with online domination that are going wonderfully well, so I generally have no complaints.
I've also found a few Dom(me)s who seem interested in helping me out and helping me learn and explore too, so all in all it's been a very good week :)
I may create another journal entry with the extra stuff I was going to put in my profile, until I can get back to a real computer and update my profile properly.
