I am drug-free and social/venereal disease-free, and expect to stay that way for the rest of my life. I don't drink, smoke, gamble, use illegal drugs, use drugs illegally or have a criminal record. I never had to declare bankruptcy because I am very financially responsible and have a perfect credit score to prove it.
I am highly educated (magna cum laude law school graduate) and world-travelled (lived on four different continents).
People say I look a little bit over half my age. My picture shows me with long hair that I donated to Locks of Love (a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis). I am growing out my hair again to donate one more time (before my hair turns gray). I have a thick but muscular body-type. Outwardly, I'm usually a nice person and a gentleman -- we all have to live in the real/vanilla world, don't we?
I'm a leader-type and am used to being in charge and responsible for the welfare of others, in exchange for their deference, obedience and respect. I am very experienced and comfortable in the role of "Big Brother" and "Daddy" when it comes to people who need someone to play those kinds of roles in their lives.
I'm tough where it counts, and have a definite sadistic streak. However, I am also responsible and realistic enough to realize that we all need to live in the vanilla world (at least some of the time). As such, I find that being polite, courteous, civil, proper and gentlemanly gets me much further and quicker towards my goals than acting boorishly. |

Just in case any of you were wondering, I posted pictures of my swords for a friend so she could see how I hold my bokken during practice. She's writer in her spare time, and she needed some information for a character she's writing, and I was just trying to be helpful.
QUESTION: Would I smack around a slave with my wooden sword?
ANSWER: As I mentioned in my profile and/or an earlier journal entry, I'm not into permanently damaging or maiming my slaves. However, I suppose I could oblige with some relatively light smacks with the side of the blade, if called for... |

I finally cut off ALL my hair for donation to Locks of Love today -- about a couple of hours ago, as a matter of fact. I was at the mall and decided to do it, after researching everything I needed to do from the Locks of Love website. I found a place that would put pony tails all over my head to properly harvest as much of my hair as possible for donation. The hair stylist kept asking me, "Are you SURE you want to do this?"
I said, "Yeah. Prior to my decision to grow out my hair and donate it, I always had very short hair. And, I miss shaving my head, particularly now that it's getting HOT outside..."
I donated 20 inches of hair. I'll post pictures later. Maybe.
I'm wondering if I should let my hair grow aout again, just so I can donate some more. I wonder if I'll have gray hair by then. It took about 2 years to grow my hair out where they can take 20 inches off, and I'm going to be 43 in August, so, who knows... :)

Women who label themselves "brats, princesses, queens, goddesses" or other such adjectives give me the impression that they are high-maintenance drama-queens, life-sucking attention-vampires and black holes of emotional need -- and therefore, definitely not relationship material for me.
I much prefer to have relationships (platonic or otherwise) with women who are low-stress, low-maintenance, level-headed, emotionally well-balanced and with a steady personality.
Women who try to force me to conquer them or break them in merely unleash the Bully Drill Sergeant and/or the Deviously Scheming Sadist response from me -- presuming I simply don't leave them alone and go my own, separate way (which is usually the case). |

For those who care enough to read my journal, please note my Hard Limits, as indicated in my list of Interests.
I am not interested in participating in any activity which I believe is ultimately harmful (or even merely dangerous or threatening) to my submissive/slave. As such, I am NOT into branding, cutting, blood sports, scat, watersports, fire play, needle play, edge play, fisting or other such activities that are unhygienic, unsafe, permanently scarring (physically, mentally or emotionally) or damaging (again, physically, mentally or emotionally).
I am VERY protective of my submissive/slave's welfare and well-being, and I cannot reconcile this aspect of myself with activities that run counter to my need to protect and defend.
Yes, I realize that some people actually find such activities pleasurable, therapeutic, restorative, etc. My point is that I do not. |

Ah, my first entry. Well, how about a little more info about myself?
I'm a very caring man who is used to being responsible for others, and being obeyed in exchange for that responsibility and caring. I am used to administering praise, encouragement and punishment to those under my charge whenever appropriate and (most of all) deserved/warranted.
I believe that true Doms must be responsible enough to learn their craft, instead of simply putting up a self-made banner proclaiming their own Dominance with little more than a desire to have easy access to a mindless, spineless sex slave.
I'm currently intrigued by all lifestyle aspects that have anything to do with Domination and Submission.
I've started to look into the Gorean lifestyle, but have issues with the fact that any other Master may discipline or have sex with my slave(s). I think I'm much too protective and possessive to allow that... |
