In the past my friends and I held what are called "tactile parties". The main event takes place in a large, completely dark room. The room is filled with soft pillows, a cool breeze, various toys and restraints, and inquisitive people. There is soft chatter as people socialize and explore, but away in the corners and hidden places, other things take place in the total darkness. "She was stripped naked, gagged and restrained. Gradually, one by one, she was discovered, and quietly they..." You get the picture.
I'm involved in various activities outside of the scene including Burning Man. I've posted a few Burning Man pictures here as well.

I've been on Collarme for a couple of years and am now just taking the time to get to know the site, thus, journal entry #1 is a few years late. While I spend most of my time working on various projects, like Burning Man, I am managing to get back into the (ahem) "swing" of things D/s. I finally had a chance to meet a couple of people I have only spoken to online at a party 3 weeks ago.
Today I spent quality time at the De Anza swap meet and worked on my 'ol 1948 Hudson. Not gonna be a play weekend this time.
I miss those play days of the Scenery back in 2003-4 when Carol ran it. Larry G started the Scenery in San Jose back in 2002. He recently passed away, may he rest in piece. He created a wonderful play space where everyone felt comfortable.
Now, off to check out the message boards.
